I started Charlotte Weenie Walk because I wanted to create a fun local dachshund group that enjoyed each other’s’ company and were able to mingle their pups with one another. In creating events for the group, and seeing the need in the community, I thought it would be perfect to combine a charitable giving.
About two years ago I was fortunate enough to be able to adopt a senior doxie from Gina at Chapman’s Dachshund Rescue. His name is Chief. I, unfortunately, had to say goodbye to him in six short weeks after adopting him. My adoption experience profoundly affected me and I do all of this in his honor. I hope through CWW’s efforts that we can give more pups in need a better life experience as I tried to do for Chief.

Hello my name Is Ryan and I am the founder of Shinefree. I am so excited to be working with CLT Weenie Walk to bring apparel inspired by mans best friend. Since the beginning of Shinefree, my goal has been to work with a Dachshund shelter. My mother and father adopted two beautiful Dachshunds from the Chapman Dachshund Rescue in York, South Carolina. I see the happiness Ella and Roo bring into their lives and I am honored CLT Weenie Walk chose Shinefree as its partner. In this way, we can help as many local dachshunds as possible.
